KSR – VCS

Client: KSR is a leading independent provider of workshop software across Europe. Its solutions encompass the entire vehicle maintenance lifecycle, from order taking, vehicle collection, replacement, costing, procurement, and workshop planning to quality assurance and delivery.

Challenge: KSR’s flagship product, VCS, was facing usability issues due to an outdated user interface, which led to cluttered data entry and display screens, negatively impacting the user experience. KSR sought to modernize the UI and improve the overall usability of the platform. The client required a dashboard that would allow their clients to monitor key processes, manage orders in queue, and analyze data more efficiently, helping them optimize their day-to-day operations.

Solution: SSI enhanced the platform’s user experience by redesigning the data screens using WPF. The user interface was significantly improved to create a more intuitive and streamlined interaction for users. SSI developed comprehensive data analytics dashboards, enhancing data analysis capabilities for users. Two main dashboards were created: one focused on Revenue Generation and another designed for organizational purposes. These dashboards enabled KSR’s clients to monitor day-to-day processes and efficiently plan workforce resources for incoming orders, ultimately improving project organization and management.

Result: The new UI and dashboards transformed VCS into a modern and user-friendly system, improving client interaction and enabling KSR to expand its customer base. The enhanced tools for monitoring and process management allowed KSR’s clients to organize projects, boosting operational efficiency and satisfaction.
