Challenge: ROi sought a technology partner to expand its innovative supply chain offerings, enhancing its advanced solutions to drive supply chain optimization in healthcare. SSI was contracted based on our extensive experience in delivering front-line solutions to the supply chain industry.
Solution: SSI’s supply chain experts and technology professionals collaborated to build an integrated software platform with a comprehensive set of features:
- Data Ingestion & Interface: A cloud-based web application offering seamless integration with on-premises enterprise systems via secure VPN, supporting structured and semi-structured data sources, and enabling DIY mapping and transformation for ETL into destination tables.
- Data Quality Management: Real-time and batch processing for data matching, a Rule Builder for custom matching rules, and a standardization workflow that includes auto-review and manual review modes for efficient data standardization.
- Master Data Management (MDM) & Delivery: Provides a single source of truth for entities like suppliers and items, with schema-based data enrichment, manual data updates with traceability, and scheduled data delivery to client data marts.
- Advanced Analytics: Supports cost and savings analysis through historical and real-time data, with a wizard-driven “what if” feature guiding analysts through various scenarios, and an export option for large-scale offline analysis.
Result: The integrated platform enabled ROi to gain deep, actionable insights by ensuring data coherence across its operations. This improvement in analytics capabilities supported a significant increase in memberships and sales, amplifying ROi’s impact on healthcare supply chain efficiency.
