Client: IRES GmbH is a technology company that develops and rents equipment for drying and mold removal using advanced infrared technology. Their flagship product, HyDRY Base, is among the first of the next-generation Building Drying Systems.

Challenge: IRES GmbH sought to enhance the functionality of their HyDRY product, which relied on six intricate drying algorithms. They required one of these algorithms to run automatically on the control panel without human intervention, while the other five would remain static, each requiring specific inputs. Additionally, IRES aimed to develop a dashboard to collect and analyze functional data from the control panel, enabling the optimization of energy consumption.

Solution: SSI collaborated with IRES to develop and implement an advanced embedded operating system for the HyDRY devices. This system enabled real-time device monitoring and allowed users to program the device according to varying environmental conditions. SSI designed an intuitive user interface that facilitated data analysis and optimization, allowing IRES to effectively reduce energy consumption by making informed decisions based on the data collected from the control panel.

Result: The introduction of the intelligent controller resulted in a remarkable 70% reduction in energy consumption for the HyDRY devices.
