Client: ImpactUS Marketplace is an online broker-dealer platform connecting mission-driven organizations, institutions, individuals, and advisors with diverse investment opportunities that deliver financial and social returns.

Challenge: In a rapidly expanding ecosystem of social enterprises and startups, there was a need for a platform that could source funding from investors interested in supporting impactful projects. However, many investors hesitated despite their willingness due to a lack of transparency, which created a barrier to funding these initiatives. ImpactUS aimed to address this challenge by developing a marketplace where investors could confidently support initiatives with full visibility into their contributions.

Solution: To meet this need, SSI partnered with Grandview Analytics to develop a dynamic marketplace platform designed to connect investors and mission-driven projects. Grandview Analytics led project management and provided consulting on business logic, while SSI managed the platform’s engineering and technical development. The ImpactUS platform was carefully designed to support multiple user roles, enabling a seamless experience for:

• Issuer: The user with an issuer’s role can initiate new projects following a structured, transparent process. Once projects receive the necessary approvals, they are made available for investment.
• Investor: Investors select projects aligned with their goals, earning returns based on designated yields and interest rates.
• Advisor: Advisors manage investments on behalf of investors, viewing profiles, reports, and providing advisory services across multiple clients.
• Admin: Admins oversee advisor assignments, validate transactions, verify investments, update project statuses, and manage system-wide reports.

The platform supports different account types—including Individual, Joint, and Corporate Accounts—and enables progress tracking with detailed statistics for issuers and investors.

Result: The ImpactUS Marketplace now provides a transparent, trusted investment platform that bridges the gap between social initiatives and investors, cultivating stronger connections and accountability. Investors can confidently support mission-driven projects, knowing their contributions make a meaningful impact.
