A Document Intelligence System That Runs the Full SDLC
The Client:
A software development organization managing complex delivery pipelines across multiple product teams, dealing with growing documentation debt and inconsistent coverage across business analysis, QA, and engineering functions.
The Engagement:
SSI designed and deployed an enterprise document intelligence platform that ingests the client’s full project knowledge base; documents, specifications, and DevOps data and deploys specialized AI agents to automate SDLC outputs on demand.
The Challenge:
Project teams were spending significant time on low-value documentation work writing user stories, test cases, and deployment scripts manually, often inconsistently across teams.
Business analysts, QA engineers, and developers each had their own fragmented toolsets. There was no unified system that could ingest the client’s existing documents; PDFs, Word files, PPTX decks and turn them into actionable, structured outputs.
As the codebase and team grew, the cost of this fragmentation compounded: delayed requirements, missed test coverage, and documentation that lagged delivery.
The Solution:
SSI built an enterprise document intelligence platform that converts the client’s full knowledge base; PDFs, Word, PPTX, Azure DevOps exports into a structured, queryable repository. Specialized agents are deployed against this repository to handle BA, QA, and Dev documentation tasks.
Each agent is purpose-built for its function: producing user stories, test cases, and deployment scripts to consistent standards with prompt templates and domain-specific tuning applied per industry and client context.
The platform operates with full multi-tenant isolation and extends beyond SDLC to serve legal, OEM, compliance, and SOP document intelligence use cases making it a shared infrastructure investment across departments.
The Impact:
Documentation effort across three SDLC roles was automated simultaneously. Teams reported significantly faster sprint setup and more consistent QA coverage.
The document intelligence layer opened a secondary use case, legal and compliance teams adopted the platform to query policy documents and SOPs without engineering involvement.
