Mr. Abbasi has fostered a customer centric culture at SSI, helping to create the SSI Dedicated Team software development model that provides a framework for long term customer partnerships.  Shoaib is a technology innovator; his leadership and background in industrial engineering, demand planning, and mathematical optimization have helped SSI to become an organization that specializes in creating and delivering truly innovative software solutions and products.

Shoaib has twenty plus years of project management, software design, and development experience. He continues to provide optimization modeling and decision support system expertise for SSI’s consulting engagements and software designs.

Shoaib participates in corporate venturing and has created new companies via SSI spinout firms and a Co-Investing Model where SSI develops software products for companies for a fee and a percentage of equity.

Prior to founding SSI, Mr. Abbasi was Director of Applications Development for General Optimization Inc. where he developed decision support systems for healthcare, transportation, financial services, and process industries. He has consulted for public and private sector clients covering business strategy, planning, and operational improvement. Mr. Abbasi earned a MBA from the University of Chicago, and MS and BS degrees in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

Prior to SSI, Shahab was working for KSB, a multinational pump manufacturing company and participated in management of the company’s marketing strategies. Mr. Ashraf’s career also includes DESCON Engineering, Pakistan’s largest construction company, where he helped market construction services to clients in the petrochemical and oil & gas industries. Mr. Ashraf holds a Master of Sciences Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and a MBA from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
